CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY

Helping farmers understand which chemicals to mix with Nano Urea and spray

Following Are The List Of Agrochemicals Which Are Scientifically Tested For The Both Chemical And Physical Compatibility With Nano Urea For Field Application

  • WSFs
  • Seaweed Extracts
  • Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC
  • Hexaconazole 5% SC
  • Chlorpyrifos 50% + Cypermethrin 5%
  • Propiconazol 25% Ec

NOTE - Following listed chemicals are OK to mix just before spray. It is advised, to not store and use mixed solutions. These data are based on particle physio-chemical parameter perspective

In Addition To This, The Compatibility

Can Be Tested Using A Jar Test

Step 1

Get a quart-sized jar with a sealable lid and add 500 ml of water into jar.

RESULT - If the materials are physically compatible, the jar will be cool to the touch and there will be no separation of materials or forming of clumps or emulsions. If the mixture is incompatible, the jar may be warm or hot to the touch; layers may form in the mixture; or sludge, clumps or grains may form in the mixture.

Step 2

Mix ¼ to ½ ml of Nano Urea and add the chemical which you want to test the compatibility with.

Step 3

Seal the jar with the lid and shake vigorously

RESULT - If the materials are physically compatible, the jar will be cool to the touch and there will be no separation of materials or forming of clumps or emulsions. If the mixture is incompatible, the jar may be warm or hot to the touch; layers may form in the mixture; or sludge, clumps or grains may form in the mixture.

Time & Method of Application

Mix 5-7 ml Of Nano Urea (20 % N) In One Litre Of Water And Spray On Crop Leaves At Its Active Growth Stages. For Best Results Apply 2 Foliar Sprays

1st

Spray

At active tillering/branching stage (30-35 Days after germination or 20-25 Days after transplanting)

2nd

Spray

20-25 days after 1st spray or before flowering in the crop. Note – Don’t cut off basal nitrogen supplied through DAP or complex fertilizers.

Cut only top-dressed Urea which is being applied in 2-3 splits. Number of sprays of Nano Urea can be increased or decreased depending upon crop, its duration and overall nitrogen requirement.
